Custom Pet Portrait Embroidery

Lifelike hand-stitched portraits that capture their fur, their eyes, and their whole personality — on rich dark fabric, in deep jewel tones. A memorial or a celebration.

Every pet has a look that's entirely their own — the head tilt, the sleepy squint, the full-body-wiggle energy they bring to the door every time you come home. A custom embroidered pet portrait captures that look in thread, stitch by careful stitch, on deep dark fabric that makes every color glow.

I've stitched cats who own the room, dogs who look like old souls, and a rabbit so fluffy the thread count still felt inadequate. Each piece takes hours of quiet focus and thousands of tiny stitches — because that kind of detail is the only way to do justice to an animal you love.

Whether you're celebrating a very-much-alive chaos agent or honoring a pet you've lost, this is a keepsake you'll keep on the wall for decades.

I cried when I opened it. It looks exactly like my sweet boy who passed away. The detail in his fur is incredible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of photo works best for a pet portrait?
Well-lit, in-focus, and eye-level — that's the trifecta. Natural light near a window is ideal. The face should fill most of the frame, and the sharper the better so I can capture every whisker and marking. If you're not sure which photo to send, send two or three and we'll choose together.
Do you do memorial pet portraits?
Yes, and they're among the most meaningful pieces I make. Honoring a pet you've lost is a deeply personal commission, and I treat every one with the care and respect it deserves. Many clients tell me the finished portrait is one of their most treasured possessions.
How long does a custom pet portrait take?
Most portraits take 2–4 weeks from the time I receive your photo and we confirm the details. I take a limited number of commissions each month to make sure every piece gets the time it needs.
What size hoop does the portrait come in?
Most pet portraits are stitched in an 8-inch wooden hoop, which arrives ready to hang. Rose gold hoop options are available — just mention your preference when you request your commission.
Can you put multiple pets in one hoop?
Yes, though pricing varies based on complexity. A portrait with two or three subjects requires more planning and more stitching time. Reach out with your photo and I'll give you a quote.
